Traditional folk tunes, social dances, and sailor songs from the Azores Islands of Portugal + a few from France and the US. Seven of the songs - tracks 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 - are from her 1984 LP Maria Antónia Esteves - Manjericão Da Serra - Música Tradicional Açoriana, but remastered.

This CD is accompanied by a 12-page booklet with liner notes in Portuguese by Victor Rui Dores and full text and origin of the songs and an afterword by Maria Antónia Fraga Esteves (Dezembro 2004)
