Booklet note: The version of the aria "Tranquillo Ei Posa... Com'è Bello" from "Lucrezia Borgia (track 1-6) included on this album differs in places from the one issued in 1992 on Maria Callas - Rarities (CDC 7 54437 2) because producer Walter Legge's editing instructions for the aria have only recently come to light, enabling a revised master to be prepared from the original session tapes.
