Album Info

Release Date: 2002-11-18

Label: Front Row Club

''To promote the Made Again live album, Marillion headed out to perform only 4 gigs in Europe. This was the last night of the mini-tour, and features many rare tracks performed live, including (among others) the 'Emmanuel' intro to 'Seasons End,' and a full electric version of 'The Bell in the Sea' - the first time it was ever performed in England.''

Out of all the London venues we've played, The Forum is my favourite.

It has a better "centre stage" sound than the Shepherds Bush Empire, and the layout of the building is such that the audience seem to be closer to the band, unlike Wembley Arena where the front row feel like they're all in the next building, and the sound feels like it's in the next neighbourhood. From an audience perspective, you can get to the bar and buy a drink without losing contact with the show, which makes for an "enhanced" atmosphere!

We've played the Forum a few times now and I always forward to it. This gig was around the time we'd released "Made Again" and we'd decided to add a few songs from the first albums. I don't think I've sung 'Market Square Heroes' since. Any lyric changes were purely down to hysteria and a reluctance to proclaim myself the antichrist.
