Issued August 2007 in an edition of 150 copies with liner notes inner sleeve.
A special deluxe edition of 25 numbered copies was issued in September 2007 with a bonus LP containing "UK Dissonance" in a handmade gatefold sleeve with numbered insert.
The very first edition cassette release of "Dissonance" was released as a micro-edition in the UK in 1979 and credited to Migraine Inducers, who were listed as Martyn Bates (Instrumental Ambivalence) & Ann Biguous (Grundig & Random Noises). The tracks were listed as: Bird Trapping Wing (In Steel Bars) / Ship In Distance With Cerise Backdrop / Child Squashing Frog / Planes In Collision, Falling / Mona Lisa's Sister And Subsequent Burning / Figure Amongst Ruins / Dead Seahorse With Sky Melting / Engine Failing-Resultant Crash / Church With New Shoes Squeaking.
The more definitive American version was released as a cassette ASR 009 in the US in 1981 and dropped the Migraine Inducers moniker and the "Antagonistic Music" title extension. It was now referred to as Martyn Bates' "Dissonance" and released in an edition of 100 cassette copies and became known as "Dissonance Americas".
