This original 08-1968 release has the 'side-by-side globe' Tamla label, which was discontinued late 1968. A similar early pressing with the later label design can be seen at Marvin Gaye - In The Groove

In 1969 the title, cover and labels were changed/revised to, "I Heard It Through the Grapevine", retaining the same catalogue number and track listings. The reissue version can be seen at Marvin Gaye - I Heard It Through The Grapevine!
