Premiere release of the score to Satsuo Yamamoto's "August Without Emperor" (September 23, 1978). This is the third of five volumes in Shochiku Records' Anokoro Film Soundtrack Series. Bonus tracks include unedited theme music material and train station announcements. Music composed by Masaru Sato. All music is in stereo except for tracks 30 - 34, which are in mono."August Without Emperor (I)" and "August Without Emperor (II)" were recorded on July 28, 1978 at Arakawa City Minkaikan Large Hall. The remainder of the score was recorded on September 9, 1978 at Aoi Studio.
