This compilation consists of re-recorded versions of the songs that originally appeared on 9 Song Demo. These recordings previously appeared on the band's early EPs Lifesblood and Slick Leg, with the exception of "Call of the Mastodon", which appeared on 4 Song Demo #2 and 4 Song Demo #3.

For this compilation, the songs have been remastered, and samples featured on Lifesblood and Slick Leg have been removed.
