In November 2019, I went to Chicago to celebrate my friend Matt Arbogast's 40th birthday. Amongst many other wonderful contributions he's made to the world, Matt runs a show space called 8am in his Logan Square attic. A birthday show was thrown, a bunch of friends played, and a few microphones were quietly turned on.These songs are from a forthcoming (or it might be out by now, depending on when you're reading this) solo record and a Signals Midwest record. There's a Magnolia Electric Co. song that I love, and there's also a brand-new one there at the end that I'm still trying to figure out what to do with.
