Mei (Japanese feminine name, pronounced “May”) is a french multidisciplinary artist based in Dijon, France. Mei's style reflects her propensity for experimentation, as someone who enjoys pushing the boundaries, she is always where you least expect her to be.Throughout the early 2000s, Mei has set the standard for experimenting with abstract electronica and dark ambient music. She has several EPs, and full-length albums announced for 2022. Her launch is set to go.
ECU is thrilled to debut Mei with the single and lead track "Sacate Eksis Sak" from her forthcoming album - kʁip.tid - to be released later on our label. A 7 track album which takes form as an artistic creation project and residency.
