Much of the label info on this reissue record is inaccurate, beginning with the group's name. Said data is shown on the labels as the being the result of Brian Rust's discographical work at the time (circa late 1940s).
By 2002, however, in his final jazz discography, "Jazz And Ragtime Records 1897-1942" (p. 1129) Rust had changed his opinion about the presence of both King Oliver and Wilbur Sweatman on these sides, and is also in disagreement with the September 1929 recording date and Bostonian location.
