3 advance promotional DVDRs that were distributed to the media ahead of the official commercial release of the box. Each disc is in individual clear plastic/padded sleeves, each with accompanying tracklisting card. The card for Disc 1 is two-sided with reproduction of the stock edition's front art; the other two cards are one-sided. Printed on each disc are the words "Promotional Copy Not For Sale" plus title, running time, reference date (10/12/10), and the MJJ, Legacy, and Epic business logos. The promotional release does not include additional outer packaging or a booklet. The video content is identical to that of the commercial release, as detailed below from the Discogs description:

42 era-defining short films (restored and remastered); 10 previously unavailable on DVD, 1 never before seen.

Contains the full-length versions of all videos except notably the 39-minute version of Ghosts is missing.
