The EP is released in 1973. This is based on the fact that in Joget Sarawak, Michael Jemat sang the line 'Menua Sarawak belambang baru, burung kenyalang nyadi ka tanda' ( Sarawak has a new symbol, the hornbill becomes the coat of arms). On 31 August 1973, Sarawak adopted the hornbill as its new coat of arms, as stated by Michael Jemat in Joget Sarawak.
