Sacramento's Middle Class Rut release their first UK single, a limited edition 7" vynil 'Busy Bein' Born' b/w 'All Walks Of Life'. Currently championed by Radio 1 tastemaker Zane Lowe, Middle Class Rut will be making their first trip outside the US with a series of London club dates in mid-November. Since the band's inception in early 2006. Zack Lopez and Sean Stockham have made it their mission to write, produce, and record every one of their tracks themselves. Musically, lyrically and live, Middle Class Rut are a near amalgamation of Refused, Jane's Addiction, Rage Against The Machine, Fugazi, and Bob Dylan (oh yes), Middle Class Rut bring a rawness and charisma that, without fail, stops listeners in their tracks. They play Proud (12/11), The Macbeth (13/11), The Wilmington (14/11), Water Rats (17/11) and a Pure Groove instore (18/11).
