Louis Clark, orchestral arranger for (but not a member of) Electric Light Orchestra arranged the strings which are credited as:
"Arranged by
Louis Clark
Electric Light Orchestra"

While it's ambiguously hinted that Electric Light Orchestra took part in the song "I'm A Rocker", the strings were performed by The London Rock Orchestra from arrangements by Louis Clark. The 7" variant I'm A Rocker and the LP's I'm A Rocker and Rock'N'Roll Boogie... Plus confirm Clark as the arranger. Electric Light Orchestra did not collectively do string arrangements.
