all tracks recorded at ROD Hall at california institute of the arts school of music.track one: aprill 22nd, 2002 for undergraduate composers' concert. this piece was part of a longer work called _For Michael Pisaro: 1-8_ . these were short pieces assigned by Pisaro to learn the various ranges or orchestrations for different acoustic instrumentations in his undergraduate composer class called "sound and silence". [I studied composition with Deleuzian friend and mentor, Michael Pisaro at calarts as undergraduate from 2001-2005]
track two and three: sometime in 2001/2002 for the 'OK Composers' Concert. [this was a brilliant concert series arranged by Devin Maxwell and Katie Porter for different composers at calarts those years.] actually the scores to these two pieces were composed while i was still living in San Francisco in 1999, transitioning from living there to moving back to Los Angleles. These scores were included with some other scores and demo tapes as parts of a portfolio for re-submitting to study composition again at calarts.
track four: November 19, 2001 for an undergraduate composers' concert. [this is a different live version from the one on fed 17, 2002.]
track five: Feb, 25, 2002 for an undergraduate composers' concert. [this is a different live version than the one on feb 17, 2002.]
track six: a recording session with calarts twentieth century players for Rand Steiger's undergraduate composition students at calarts, May, 1987. [I studied composition as an undergraduate with mentor, Rand Steiger between 1986-1987, directly after studying for a year as a piano performance major there.
