Batéké music recorded July - August 1965 in the region of Léconi and on the Tsoulo (Haut-Ogooué) track.

Comes in a gatefold cover with 10-page of text and photographs.
Produced with the help of Radiodiffusion-Télévision Française.

Album notes indicate that the Mitsogho live in mountainous equatorial forest and the Batéké live in savanna between the western Gabon/Congo border.
M. Mondjo, J. Moubégna, and J. Abala are listed as "informants".
