Recorded at Horizon Recording Studios (Horizon House, Warwick Road, Coventry CV3). Recording sessions began in the last week of July 1980, as reported in MELODY MAKER magazine (26/7/80, page 4 and 9).

Initial copies contained an A4 sized shaped sticker (see image) and lyric sheet.
