Monolink Project (aka Monolink) is a dissociative electronic music project based in Volgograd. It was founded in 2010 by two people with widely dissonating views on music and seemingly incompatible approaches to its creation. Instead of tearing the project apart, their creative differences gave birth to a dualistic and diverse sound. In 2016 one of the members left monolink project, leaving Dmitriy Kochetcov as its sole member.

Sophie: Music for the Performance is the original soundtrack for the eponymous performance by the Scandal Pro physical theatre troupe that combines several pieces created by Monolink independently over the course of two years. Monolink’s music turned out to be a natural addition to Scandal Pro’s performance, reinforcing its concept and underscoring its themes. The OST opens with a version of The Wrong Parallels that resulted from significant revisions made to it over the past one and a half years, and features Evolving, a track that was originally created for a side project that was lost two years ago. Scandal Pro performed Sophie in the Moscow-based Hideout studio (now closed) on October 1, 2016.
