"It’s been almost a year since my last release Syd and I’ve explored a wide range of African music and how it translates to my way of composing. Whilst Syd had an African and South American influence, this North album flips the samples and works with them from a Scandinavian point of view. Fully utilising my 7 years of experience performing with musicians from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland. In North there’s more space, there’s some anxiety in the warm samples and the sound design is more focused and modern. There’s also something I can’t express in words, a collection of my experiences living in the North. Sometimes it’s cold but also pretty hyggeligt.”

MOO LATTE is a Congolese/Polish producer, instrumentalist and composer educated in both Classical and Jazz. Active internationally his appearances include releases and performances with Bitamina, Soia, Chelsea Reject, Kinkai, Elijah Fox, Marie Dahlstrøm, Per Vers and many other European and American artists. Combining acoustic instruments with synthesisers and samples, his carefully layered compositions easily navigate genres such as Hip Hop, Soul, Jazz and African music.
