Concert recorded live, by analog recording system, on October 4, 1958 at the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro, with Camargo Guarnieri conducting the Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira, and with the participation of soprano Maria de Lourdes Cruz Lopes, clarinetist Leonardo Ricchi and the Female Choir of Choir Singing Association ("Coro Feminino da Associação do Canto Coral"), as shown in the CD booklet.

The CD cover incorrectly names clarinetist Leonardo Ricchi as Leonardo Righi. On the inside cover of the CD, however, the correct name of the musician is indicated.
