Muted World is Muted's debut album. It was recorded and produced between january and september of 2011 in Hafnarstræti, Akureyri and Sláturhúsið, Egilsstaðir.
The album spans a field of many genres and features a lot of field recordings recorded in various places in Iceland.
Muted's idea with this album was to experiment with new styles and give an insight into the world of sounds he creates whilst maintaining a similar feel throughout.

The album was originally signed to a British record label in late 2011 but was later delayed and in the end the contract was terminated because of a greedy distribution company.
