Gear includes: Access Virus A, Emu X-L7 & PX-7, Roland TR-707, Korg DW-8000, Korg Mono/Poly, Emu Emulator ii, Arp Axxe, Yamaha QY-70, and other similar, classic gear. Most of the tracks are single take, recorded line-level to a digital stereo recorder (2 track-only), with little to no overdubs. Most of the flaws (such as vocal clipping or minor flubs) were left in place to continue the momentum of the jam.
