Special promotional CD from the 1992 Disney film, Captain Ron starring Martin Short and Kurt Russell. This CD was produced personally by Composer Nicholas Pike for his own personal use throughout the Hollywood industry to gain composing jobs. One of the more sought after promo discs distributed by Pike's agency as well as himself personally from the early 1990's that became an instant collectable due to its rarity as well as the score being unreleased commercially by any record label which made it even more difficult to acquire. The album is 38 Minutes long featuring a true Caribbean sound well performed by some of LA's finest soloists including Andy Narell, John Robinson, and Michael Fisher recorded by Allen Sides as well as the Hollywood Studio Symphony well recorded by Shawn Murphy giving the score both breezy balance and weight. The promo is still hard to obtain and continues to be one of Pike's best unreleased scores.
