A very stark solo album recording between George W. Bush's re-election and his second inaugural. I was housesitting for friends who were touring in Europe. They had a little studio that I was allowed to use. I had no job, no money, and had just gotten divorced. I'd gather change together at night to go to a bar down the street and buy a Miller High Life and watch the Red Sox win their first World Series in 86 years.
