Album Info

Release Date: 1989-08

Label: Tupelo Recording Company

Recorded in Seattle at Reciprocal Recording for $600.
Licensed from Sub Pop.
Manufactured & Distributed by Revolver / Cartel.

Tupelo released a few different versions of Bleach on CD. They are, in probable release order, as follows:
Version #1 (This version): The disc has 11 tracks. The front insert has silver lettering.
Version #2: The disc has 13 tracks. The front insert has silver lettering.
Version #3: The disc has 13 tracks. The front insert has white lettering.
Version #4: The disc has 13 tracks. The front insert has silver lettering. Identical to Version #2, except that the credit for the Cartel distribution has been removed from the insert and traycard.

This initial CD issue has only 11 tracks, missing both Love Buzz and Downer. Ironically though, the original back cover notes still refer to Love Buzz being written by Robby Van Leeuwen despite the song being absent from this release.
