"Painless Childbirth" is one of a series of medical records which is aimed at helping people to reduce pain and tension
in conditions like pregnancy and insomnia , and to overcome harmful habits like smoking and overeating. The author of this series is
a Senior Fellow of the Royal College Surgeons in Ireland in whose hospital wards the principles of Relaxology are continuously used with great benefit.

"One side of the record describes how the muscles low down relax at the same time as the muscles in the uterus contract , and how complete harmony between these muscles can prevent the mother from becoming overtired and the baby distressed. The reverse side of the record is devoted to practising relaxation."
