Liner notes of the CD sleeve read:

If you were to try to record the sounds of the jungle at any given time of the day or night, any time of year, the results, individually, might not sound all that fascinating. What we have done is to blend the many sounds of the jungle, recorded over a long space of time, into one recording which creates the sound of the jungle as you would imagine it to be.

All sounds were recorded in the jungles and rain forests of Central and South America (with the notable exception of the Kookaburra, indigenous to Australia) and along the Amazon River. We have also included South American Indian drumming from time to time to add to the sense of adventure. This recording is great fun, educational and exciting. Indiana Jones would love it! We hope you will enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating it.
