Sounds of the Countryside
Notes from the sleeve: The recordings on this Disc were made in the late 1950's in an endeavour to show the typical sounds of a steam threshing set at work, and also the sound of steam cultivating in progress.
On Side A we hear "Burrell" 8 h.p. single cylinder traction Engine No. 3106, then in the ownership of the late Mr. W. Parris of Moreton, Essex.
On side B we hear Fowler Compound ploughing Engine No. 14384, "Princess".
