Compilation from 1975 in replica card sleeve with obi. Includes replica liner note/lyric insert and six panel poster. An additional eight page booklet includes a reprinted vintage magazine article and 2008 liner notes in Japanese. The reverse of the obi includes thumbnails of the first ten titles in the series.

The album title, Ōinaru Isan, translates as Great Legacy. The original liner notes state this is a collection of 11 tracks not featured on Okabayashi's first three albums (URL-1007, URG-4001, URG-4008). Eight of the tracks were issued as singles, one is from a live performance with 五つの赤い風船, and two are previously unreleased.
