This EP contains two new pieces from Oil Thief, created in the process of completing the new LP "The Colony" (out later this year on Chondritic Sound). These two pieces, Phobos and Foibles, were integral to the ideas behnd the record and refining of technique, but were ultimately phased out of the track list as new pieces crystallized. A misshapen view of things to come, neither here nor there, still sounding like Oil Thief but not indicative of the full-length to come.
