I started writing this collection of songs in 1984 in a squat in Elephant & Castle, recording them as demos on a Yamaha MT1X 4-track cassette recorder. In 2018, on rediscovering a box in my attic, I expanded these rudimentary recordings at my home studio in East Sussex, rewriting, rearranging and rerecording as I felt necessary. I have effectively finished the album I started back in '84.
