This album was self-released by Den in official Omutt vk.com group in March, 11, 2014.
Here's the original comment by Den: "Dark / Drone Ambient dedication to Vaygach island (“Wai Khabts” - “island of terrible death” or “land of death” in translation from Nenets languauge). For millennia, this territory was considered sacred to ancient Samoyedic tribes. Here, on Vaygach, the main sanctuaries of "Yugra and Samoyed" tribes were located. The number of idols and sacrificial places amazed the imagination of travelers, by the will of fate abandoned on this harsh land.
In 1934, in the Varnek Bay, prisoners of “Vaygach special camp” began industrial mining of lead and zinc ores in five mines. Due to hard work and harsh climatic conditions, mortality was high. In winter, they did not bury the dead, but lowered them under the ice of the bay. In 1938, the mines had been flooded and the mining camp was closed. The surviving prisoners were partially taken out, partially - sent to go by foot to Vorkuta in the wintertime. Many of them died on the way".
