Obscure South African band from the early 1970s featuring Duncan Faure on guitar and Franco del Mei on drums. Duncan was only 16 years of age when this recording was made.Duncan Faure started his career in 1972 when he formed Orange Cashboat, moving on to Rabbitt in 1975. Rabbitt became South Africa’s most successful band to date, releasing 3 gold albums and winning 7 SARIE awards during their career. In 1978 Duncan became the lead vocalist with the Scottish band, the Bay City Rollers, and in his time they released 3 albums.
In 1982 he collaborated with Stuart Wood, guitarist with the Bay City Rollers, as Karu, releasing one album (in Japan) and two 7” singles. In 1987 his single “24 Hours” was included in Madonna's “Who's That Girl?” soundtrack, which sold 5 million copies. He went on to release several successful solo albums. In 2006 he moved to Las Vegas in the USA were he still performs and hosts a radio show.
This song was released on 7" single in 1972 as the B-side to "Chitchie boo boo".
