This album was recorded as 8 separate movements in the fall of 2005. Asparagor wrote the first movement as a joke. Oregarus wrote the second movement as a joke as well. The pieces were written in the order in which they appear on the album. Asparagor composed and recorded tracks 1, 3, 5 & 7. Oregarus composed and recorded tracks 2,4,6 & 8. In the process the two of them created hundreds of smaller ELP and Tarkus related pieces of art and quickly became quite serious about turning the bloated and pompous music of not just the worst Emerson, Lake & Palmer album but arguably the worst album ever made into something other than crappy headphone music for fifty year old basement dwellers. These tracks were mastered, cross-faded and polished by Asparagor.This entire album is the result of a joke taken too far.
Package includes: CD with Printed one sided cover art, Stenciled Anti-LP with the band members silhouetted on either side, a Large B&W poster containing some of the hundreds of ELP and Tarkus art created by the band. All inside a repurposed LP with the Trakus stenciled on the front and random NASA or Lockheed promotional cards pasted on the reverse and hand numbered of 26.
