Jason Cawood is an artist based out of Regina, Canada.

Cawood's DJ mixes as Panda Magic (a name borrowed from a 1988 event at the Calgary Zoo which he attended as a child) typically combine music from the 70s and 80s with new music to create a dialog between the different eras.

The mix made for Atrocious Symphonies was partially inspired by Simon Fisher Turner's soundtrack album for Derek Jarman's 1990 film The Garden.
