Say, that is Classic Hard Rock, but how could it have came from Hungary in the early 80s? The first incarnation of P. Box existed in 1980-86, under the co-leadership of Bencsik and Cserháti (the band was re-formed two times in the 2000s on). With three albums recorded (Pandora's Box, Kő kövön and Ómen), their music was noted as one of the most sophisticated hard rock actions ever behind the Iron Curtain. Bencsik's outstanding composer and performer skills, Vikidál's genuine hard rock voice and Sáfár's fine bass playing were all key factors for their success. Kő kövön (Stone on Stone) is still appreciated amongst the very best East European Hard Rock albums. This LP records the band at its peak in September 1983, at Buda Youth Park, a legendary venue of Hungarian rock for decades. Hold the Line - it's Kinda Rock'n'Roll!
