This is a re-issue of two sides originally put out by RPM as 45X472 in 1956. This release was likely around June of 1957 (the catalog number fits), to take advantage of and coincide with Anka's then success with "Diana" on ABC-PARAMOUNT.For years, it had been assumed that the backing vocals were provided by the Cadets/Jacks. But in light of a statement made by one of their members in recent years, that the group never sang on it, a group called the Sparks is now receiving credit.
