You can preview Paul Hyde's new album in almost 9 years; on iTunes, Spotify and lots more. Paul no longer performs live and has no interest in that any more. One of this country's great songwriters/lyricists, you know him best from The Payolas and Rock & Hyde; but his solo albums have all been equally as strong and I am happy to say 4 out of the 6 are on my Bongo Beat label. Alan Doyle, Russell Crowe, Ronnie Wood, and others have all covered his songs.

No Gods Just Men is digital only for now and we'll do physical in the new year.

Among the special guests: Bob Rock (co-mixed 2 songs), Larry Hennessey on the bass guitar, and Paul's kids, all successful musicians in their own right; Dani & Lizzy (she also designed the cover), David Nelson (aka rapper Emotionz).

The album is rolling out over all digital services this week, so, just keep checking; release date is this Friday, Dec 1.

My relationship with Paul began when I was his product manager at Capitol Canada for his first solo album (although I had met him prior to that and had seen The Payolas at their debut Toronto gig and a few times after that). When I moved to Vancouver and became a performer myself; is when we re-stablished contact and it's been a journey from there.
