Surprisingly, this is Pefkin’s first vinyl release. The tracks on the lp, between 7 and 13 minutes long, make sense on their own, but definitely form a strong whole from the beginning until the very end.

The album opens gently with the delicate but firm sounding guitarbased track ‘Later I walked into the woods’’. The path carefully leads us along two longer songs, exploring the whole spectrum of Pefkins sound: freeform folk, drones, parts with heavily processed vocals as the center and various smaller instruments in keyroles. The album climaxes in the final track ‘Isn’t it good to be lost in the woods’, where Gayles distinct voice blends in perfectly with the organ.

The album is pressed on high-quality German vinyl, and comes in an open sleeve printed by Smeraldina-Rima, with download coupon, in an edition of just 100 copies.
