Led by songwriter Willem Smit, the band's ever-shifting lineup draws from Netherlands counterparts such as Canshaker Pi, Pip Blom, Steve French and The Klittens, as well as English bands Home Counties and Bull. On stage, Personal Trainer have been described as “a manic indie rock orchestra that taps into the wayward spirits of Car Seat Headrest, Silver Jews, The Fall and LCD Soundsystem."

On record, Smit teams up with Casper van der Lans to produce an effort that cements their status at the head of the burgeoning Dutch guitar scene. Limited to 300 Copies.
