Amazing short format instrumental album by Pete Newsom.Centuries Cities is an entire album on a single 7” record. Side A has seven one-minute songs and as a counterpoint, side B responds with three songs.
It’s hard to describe how rad this album is. Each song grabs you instantly with beautiful textures, melodies and rhythms. By the time you are able to wrap your head around how amazing the song you are listening to is, it fades out and another song, just as captivating, kicks in. WTF?!
If you have never heard Pete’s song crafting and playing then you are in for a serious treat. It’s incredible. Even if you have, the super short song format is an entirely new listening experience. Both on vinyl and digitally.
Mastered specifically for this release, all songs on Centuries Cities are written and performed by Pete.
