"Super Good Big Egg Roll." and "Daisy" were recorded in the fall of 1992 in the studios of Memphis State University.
"Surge" was recorded March 1993 at Ardent Studios live to digital audio tape. The band wasn't given a DAT copy, so they mixed from chrome tape back to DAT.
Additional recording and mixing July 1993 at Easley.

This record is called "Free Ride" because it was recorded for free.
