Phantom Puercos explored the entire spectrum of songmending, soundsearching, arranging and beerdrinking. From these far out tunes, lost songs and airy melodies they distilled a weird tasting but fingerlicking blend of music.

Beside everyday rock instrumentarium like guitars, bass and drums we use banjos, mandolines, accordeon, lapsteel, slide and once in a while a trumpet (which is now having a great time in a military jugband in Dar- es- Salaam, Tanzania) to create our sound and songs. Big musical impressions with dark wandering sounds and sometimes very small folksongs straight to the heart.

Imagine hot desolated deserts, hissing summerlawns, soggy green swamps, moist maroon cow eyes, swirls of fog on a morning meadow and a weak yellow lightbulb faintly shimmering in the darkness off the night.

Modern, Alternative, Indie, Country Noir and Americana music from the lowlands of Holland.
