Metal Inquisition by Piledriver

Artists

Album Info

Release Date: 1991

Label: Kraze

As "Pile Driver" on back cover.

Piledriver wasn't a band - it was actually another band made in the studio by Zoran Busic, the manager of the record company Cobra (2). The music on Metal Inquisition was written by Leslie Howe (pseudonym: Bud Slaker) and Louise Reny (pseudonym: Sal Gibson). According to Gord Kirchin the "band" actually consisted of two "members": himself (pseudonym: Pile Driver), who took over the vocal duties and Leslie Howe (Bud Slaker) who played all instruments. The other members mentioned on the release are fake.

Drums are an E-MU SP12 machine programmed by Howe, with real cymbals overdubbed.

℗ 1984 Maze Music.
