This is the 2004 Japanese digital remaster, which was a limited run and is now out of print. This CD is part of the "mini LP" series, where everything has been faithfully reproduced to mimmick the original LP release, but in a CD format. For 'The Final Cut', this includes: the gatefold cover, picture disc, a Japanese fold-out insert w/essay at 2004年4月[in April, 2004] by 池田聡子[Satoko Ikeda], lyrics in both English and Japanese which translated[対訳] by 山本安見[Yasumi Yamamoto]. As well the original album title sticker on the cover. The CD comes in an anti static "vinyl" pouch and the whole package comes in a resealable plastic sleeve with an included OBI. (Note: there is also an alternative black OBI for this release). Many of the Japanese 'mini LP' issued discs meet an extremely high quality standard. This one is no exception.

Also: this release includes 'When The Tigers Broke Free' as a bonus track, which has only previously appeared on singles.

Recorded in England between July and December 1982.
