Album Info

Release Date: 1999

Label: Cha-Bashira

These two tracks were made originally for an installation consisting of a long room filled with on the left side with 25 coffee makers and on the right side with equally many water boilers and pots to make tea with. All of these appliances were to be active together, all the time producing endless amounts of tea and coffee that visitors could consume for free. Under the tables were to be hidden loudspeakers out of which these tracks would be audible at about the same volume as the noises made by all the tea and coffee makers creating a doubled sound environment that could have lead some visitors to mistake part of the track for strange sounds produced by the multitude of appliances. The installation was never realized, and the the tracks on the CD are now left for the listener to install in their CD player.
