Deadwing is based on a screenplay written by Steven Wilson and Mike Bennion

Track 10 is a hidden track and is uncredited on the release. Between track 9 and 10 there is around 5 minutes of silence.

The special edition comes in a 72 page hardback book package, and includes both the CD stereo version and DVD-V 5.1 surround sound version (without the bonus track).
