This is a re-issue of the original Porcupine Tree - Transmission - Moonloop EP and contains a complete improvisation from 1994, part of which was used as the basis for The Sky Moves Sideways era track "Moonloop".

Recorded at the Doghouse, Henley on 28th June 1994 by Markus Butler. Additional overdubs and mix at No Man's Land on 30th June 1994 by SW.


This fan club edition has small differences in cover artwork as on the Porcupine Tree - Transmission IV - Moonloop EP (the moon looks like on the original EP but without traces of black, the cover is also matt finish but the writing is bigger and placed lower on the sleeve. This version is titled "Transmission" on the sleeve while the other reissue shows "Transmission IV". The cd itself is titled "Transmission IV".

Limited edition of 1000 copies (both sleeve-versions together).
