Texno Theology by Prodigal Sons

Artists

Album Info

Release Date: 1993-03

Label: Mixing Factory

This album was originally titled “Techno Theology”, but the label changed it for the sake of cleverness (as the band was from Dallas, TX).

Samples: “Satan Is Dead”: “Satan” sample from Butthole Surfers (and probably Orbital’s “Satan” also), “…is dead” from L.A. Style’s “James Brown Is Dead”; “Madolyn vs. the Sons” contains a sample likely of televangelist Pat Robertson.

Produced for N’ Soul Productions. Mixed at N’ Soul Studios, Canoga Park, CA. Executive produced for Partners in Tyme Productions.
