The destruction of Zairex is a collection of experimental tracks from two members of the prophet live band "the spidercats" to tell a horrific science fiction short story which splinters off from the space opera of prophet's previous album "The Last Monarch". This EP details the last days of Zairex an urban center of trade across the galaxy as it becomes decimated off the face of the universe. Listen as the Monarch Borgal storms into Zairex slaughtering everyone in the name of order and religious dogma, the people of Zairex attempt to continue the eternal dance despite the fury of war time and as they pass on to the underworld and every last one of them is but dust.
